    Student Social Events:

    Students:

    • All Students must adhere to LCS rules and guidelines when attending an event hosted by the school.
    • All students must follow all dress code guidelines put in place at each event. Dress code guidelines will be communicated prior to each specific event. Certain events may require female students to receive approval on a dress.
      •  All dresses worn to the dance must be photographed, while being worn and submitted to the dress approval submission form. All females attending the Lakeway Christian Academy dance must complete the form through the submission form provided for each event to have their dress approved in order to attend the event. This includes guests of any Lakeway student, whether they attend LCA or they are an outside guest. Submission of this form does not guarantee approval of the dress. Instead, a member from our dress approval committee will reach out to each individual student to approve or recommend alterations. If alterations are recommended a new form must be submitted when alterations are complete.
        • Dresses may be strapless (if they fit properly) or include spaghetti straps.
        •  Dresses may be backless, if they are not cut below the naval.
        •  Midriffs will not be exposed. This includes both front and side.
        •  Two-piece dresses must have solid fabric (not mesh) added to cover midriff.
        • Dresses may not have a slit that exceeds mid-thigh. This is fingertip length. This also includes short dresses.
        • The top of the dress bodice must be above the bust line.
        •  Undergarments should not be visible. See-through apparel is not permitted.
        •  Garments that are tight or low-cut are also unacceptable.
        • Fabric inserts must be sewn, not pinned, on the dress if without the inserts the dress does not meet dress code.
        • Cover-ups are permitted to cover a dress that does not meet expectations, if they are worn the entire night.
        • Pictures taken at the dance must meet dress code. You may not alter a dress to take a picture.
      • Males must dress in a tux, suit, or sports coat
      • Jeans are permitted as long as no holes or rips are on the jeans. Jeans must be worn with a sports coat or suit jacket.
        • Cowboy boots are permitted.
    • Students bringing an outside guest to a school sponsored event (homecoming, junior/senior formal, etc.) must receive guest approval for each guest in attendance. All non LCS student guests are required to adhere to LCS rules and guidelines. Guest approval guidelines will be communicated prior to each event.
      • Guest Approval Form (are we able to link the form?)
      • A student at Lakeway Christian Academy requesting to bring a friend who is not a student at LCA must have the guest approval form completed before purchasing a ticket to the dance. This form must be filled out and turned into the LCA office at the time of purchasing a ticket to the event. This form must verify that the guest is a current high school student (9th -12th) or high school graduate under the age of 21 on the date of the event. In addition, guests that are 18 and older and out of high school must present his/her photo ID prior to the event or at the door the evening of the event in addition to completing this form. Please note that only one guest per student is permitted and guests must be of the opposite gender.
    • When an event requires a ticket to be purchased, students must purchase a ticket in order to attend or participate in the event. Failure to purchase a ticket could result in the student(s) being asked to leave school property. All tickets must be purchased through LCS purchasing site.
