Spiritual Emphasis – We seek …
- To encourage all students to develop a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, and to instill in them a love for God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to instill a personal sense of responsibility to fulfill God’s desires.
- To teach students that the Bible is the Word of God, and to stress its practicality and importance through the application of biblical principles to every part of daily life.
- To integrate the teachings of the Bible with every subject and activity, and to evaluate secular information according to what the Bible teaches, as it is the ultimate source and final authority for all teaching.
- To encourage students to develop self-discipline and responsibility based on submission to God and all other authority.
- To promote high academic standards, and to help all students realize their full academic potential.
- To prepare students for success and achievement beyond high school.
- To assist students in developing a disciplined approach to their studies.
- To encourage all students to think clearly and logically and to work both independently and cooperatively, utilizing good study habits.
- To help each student gain a thorough mastery of the fundamental processes used in communicating and dealing with others, including reading, writing, speaking, listening, and using mathematics.
- To develop creative and critical thinking, and proper use of biblical criteria for evaluation.
- To become responsible citizens, instilling a love for our country and respect for those who have served.
- To develop an understanding of the world and an ability to appreciate and contribute to the world.
- To help each student maintain a level of physical fitness that promotes a healthy lifestyle.
- To develop an understanding of the importance of wellness.
- To assist each student to understand that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and is to be kept clean, pure, capable of responding to God.
- To develop a biblical understanding of Christian values and morality.
- To develop an interest in skills needed for life-long involvement in physical activities.
- To use sports as an aid in the development of character, integrity, sportsmanship and team work in our students.
- To lead each student to receive a relationship with God through Jesus Christ by faith.
- To develop a growing relationship with God through Bible Study and Prayer.
- To become fully devoted followers of Christ.
- To develop positive social skills that allows them to interact with others confidently and courteously.
- To encourage godly relationships with other believers built upon a mutual relationship with Christ.
