4.506 Employee Schedule Expectations
Position specific calendars are developed each year as part of the employee management budgeting process, and are assigned to each position. A position specific calendar is attached to each employment agreement distributed to every employee annually.
Work Schedule Expectations:
In accepting an employment agreement, the employee agrees to work the days set forth. Contracted pay is calculated from the scheduled hours and days detailed in the calendar. LCS reserves the right to modify or adjust the calendar as needs arise throughout the year.
In addition to the scheduled days on your assigned calendar, LCS asks that each employee commits to serve at three (3) extra curricular events or activities throughout the year. We believe that this additional involvement will not only help our organization but will provide opportunities for fellowship among employees outside their normal scope of duties.
Examples of qualifying activities include:
Overtime
Occasionally, a situation arises which requires a non-exempt employee to work overtime. Overtime will be required only when necessary, but employees are expected to work overtime when asked to do so.
Non-exempt employees are required to obtain permission in advance prior to working overtime. Employees who habitually disregard their set work schedule and work unsolicited overtime are subject to disciplinary action.
