GIFTS
You are prohibited from accepting gifts, favors, or hospitality that might tend to influence your participation in the decision making process. Any cash awards and gifts that are $100 or more in value are to be reported to the respective principal for accountability purposes.
SOLICITATIONS
No solicitations of any kind may be made on the LCS campuses or on school time unless permission has been granted by the school administrator. Typically, business affairs, other than school business, should not be conducted during school time. It is the policy of LCS that the school shall not participate in business programs, either directly or indirectly, other than its primary business of education. LCS (Cornerstone Academy, Inc.) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) operating entity, and this policy is intended to avoid situations that might adversely affect this status. Furthermore, LCS is a ministry of Jesus Christ, and this policy is intended to preclude the possibility of entering into any business proposition that could negatively affect its outreach and witness for Him. This policy does not prevent individual members of LCS or its Board of Directors from participating in any business of their choice, but it does prohibit them from representing LCS in any business venture.
