3.105 Late Work Policy

Late work is defined as any classroom assignment missing the instructor's deadline without prior written consent. A student’s academic work that misses their instructor’s deadline for any unexcused reason is considered late. Late work will receive a point deduction per day based on the following guidelines:

    1 day late – 15 point deduction

    2 days late – 30 point deduction

    3 days late – 50 point deduction

After 3 days, a zero will be assigned in the gradebook. Work that is turned in beyond the 3-day deadline is eligible for up to 50% credit based on the quality of the work. Students are encouraged to communicate with their teachers on a regular basis.
