4.609 Secondary Employment
LCS generally has no objection to an employee holding other jobs as long as you they effectively meet the performance standards for their job at LCS. In considering other employment, an employee should think seriously about the effects extra work may have on the limits of endurance and overall personal health. A communication of intent to seek secondary employment must be submitted to the Superintendent. In some cases, due to the primary responsibility to students and families, an employee may be advised against securing secondary employment.
