Missed work is defined as any classroom assignment missed due to sickness or any other excused absence. Students who miss instructional time due to an excused absence will be granted one day per day absent to complete missed assignments. The day(s) will begin once the student has returned to school. Students who miss an extended period of time will be handled on an individual basis between the instructor, administration and the family. Any work that has not been submitted to the instructor after this extension will be subject to the Late Work Policy unless permissions are granted otherwise. It is the student’s responsibility to seek out teachers for any work missed due to absence.
