3.606 Graduation Activities

Eligibility for Senior and Graduation Activities
At Lakeway Christian Schools, participation in special events — including graduation, senior activities, and off-campus trips — is considered a privilege. Students are expected to demonstrate responsibility in academics, behavior, and meeting school obligations in order to take part.

    General Expectations
To be eligible for special events, students must:
    • Be a full-time student of Lakeway Christian Schools
    • Be in good academic standing, which means passing required courses, being on track to graduate, and not failing multiple classes.
    • Be in good disciplinary standing, meaning they are not currently suspended, expelled, or under unresolved discipline action.
    • Maintain acceptable attendance, without excessive unexcused absences or truancy.
    • Fulfill all school responsibilities, including paying required fees and fines, returning school property (such as textbooks, uniforms, and equipment), and submitting all required forms by established deadlines.
    Graduation and Senior Activities
Graduation and senior activities include, but are not limited to, the graduation ceremony, prom, senior trip, senior sunrise, and awards events. To participate in these activities, students must:
    • Have completed, or be on track to complete, all graduation requirements.
    • Attend all mandatory practices, meetings, or rehearsals associated with the activity.
    • Follow school rules for behavior and conduct leading up to and during each event.
    • Comply with dress code and behavior expectations appropriate for each event.
    • Understand that participation in graduation-related activities does not guarantee receipt of a diploma. Diplomas are only awarded when all academic and graduation requirements have been officially met.
