3.616 Awarding of High School Credit
Credit for high school courses is added to a student’s transcript at the end of each semester. The student’s GPA is calculated or updated at that time. The semester grade is calculated by weighted average of the two quarters (43% each) and the semester exam (14%).
In the event a student should pass one semester and fail one semester of a year-long course and the average of those two semester grades is a passing grade, that average will be entered for both semester grades. The student would then not be required to complete credit recovery.
