4.402 Drug Free Statement
To maintain the highest quality work force and to fulfill our responsibility as a Christian school, LCS supports a drug and alcohol-free work environment. LCS reserves the right to test any employee randomly for the presence of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or alcohol.
The Board of LCS is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and productive learning and working environment for all students, employees, and visitors. The use, possession, distribution, or influence of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or alcohol on school property or at school-sponsored activities undermines the integrity of the school’s mission and endangers the welfare of the community.
This policy affirms the school’s commitment to maintaining a drug-free environment in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
LCS strictly prohibits the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession, or use of controlled substances, illegal drugs, or alcohol on school premises, in school vehicles, or while engaged in school-sponsored or school-related activities, whether on or off campus.
All employees are expected to comply with this policy as a condition of enrollment or employment.
