2.501 Payroll Schedule

    Policy Statement:

    This payroll schedule policy is applicable to all payroll activities within LCS. All employees and authorized personnel must adhere to this schedule. Any exceptions or alterations to this schedule require documented approval from the relevant authority.

    Payroll Schedule

    Lakeway Christian Schools (LCS) follows a defined payroll schedule for all employees:

    • Salaried Employees:
      • Payment for salaried employees is disbursed via ACH on the last business day of each month.
      • Contracts for 10-month employees start on the final day of the month in which the school year begins (typically August).
      • Payment for 10-month contracts is distributed over twelve (12) equal monthly installments, concluding in July.
      • Contracts for 12-month employees commence in July, coinciding with the start of the new fiscal year.
      • Payment for 12-month contracts is made in equal installments through the following June.
    • Hourly Employees:
      • Hourly employees operate on a bi-weekly pay schedule.
      • Compensation for hourly employees is paid in arrears, based on hours worked during the two-week period before the payroll week.
      • Payroll weeks for hourly employees are defined from Monday through Sunday.
