The Superintendent serves as the chief executive officer of LCS and is responsible for the overall management, spiritual leadership, and operational oversight of the school under the direction of the Board of Directors. The Superintendent’s leadership is expected to reflect Christ-centered principles and promote a culture of excellence, integrity, and service.

- Model Christ-like character in word, deed, and decision-making.
- Encourage a school culture grounded in biblical principles and the mission of LCS.
- Support faculty, staff, and students in their spiritual growth.
- Administrative Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including academic, administrative, and extracurricular programs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and school policies.
- Implement and monitor school policies approved by the Board of Directors.
- Educational Leadership:
- Promote high standards of teaching, curriculum development, and student achievement.
- Support professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
- Evaluate educational programs to ensure alignment with the school’s mission and Christ-centered philosophy.
- Personnel Management:
- Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate faculty and staff in accordance with school policies.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Address personnel matters, including discipline and performance improvement, in a fair and consistent manner.
- Board Relations:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the school and the Board of Directors.
- Provide timely reports, recommendations, and updates regarding school operations, finances, and strategic initiatives.
- Implement the Board’s policies and directives while providing professional counsel and guidance.
- Financial and Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the preparation and management of the school budget.
- Ensure proper stewardship of school resources in alignment with the mission and policies of LCS.
- Approve operational expenditures and monitor financial performance.
- Community Relations:
- Represent LCS to parents, churches, donors, and the broader community.
- Promote the school’s mission and values through public speaking, outreach, and relationship-building.
- Foster partnerships that support the spiritual, academic, and social development of students.
