3.605 Graduation Requirements
LCS Graduation Requirements
Adopted by LCS Board on 12/16/2025
Class of 2028 and beyond - 27 credits:
Bible – 4 credits or one for each year of HS enrolled
English – 4 credits
Math – 4 credits, to include Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. Student must take a math credit every year of HS.
Science – 3 credits, to include Biology, Chemistry, and one additional Physical Science
Social Sciences – 3 credits, to include World History (1 credit), US History (1 credit), American Government (0.5 credit), and Economics (0.5 credit)
World Languages – 2 credits of the same language
Physical Education and Health – 1 credit of Health and Wellness, 0.5 credits of PE, Weightlifting, Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheerleading, or School-sponsored athletics.
Personal Finance – 0.5 credits
Computer Science – 1 credit
Electives – 4 credits, to include 2 fine arts or 2 CTE credits
Service Requirement – Students in grades 9-12 must complete a minimum of 15 hours of community service per year of HS
Enrichment Requirement – Students must participate in at least two school-sponsored extracurricular activities per year of HS
